2022 was another year full of DIY innovation, new home improvement trends, and successful projects. As we look forward to 2023, we recap the past year while gearing up for the new year ahead.
2022 Recap
At Larry’s Lumber, we’re more than a wood wholesaler. We’re also experts in all things construction! Our aim in 2022 was to inform our customers on many different topics from the difference of soft and hardwoods to knowing the perfect time for starting woodworking projects around the home. Whether you insulated your home this summer or winter, bought or rented power tools for the first time and needed help learning how to use them, or took on the mighty task of building a new deck from scratch, we were happy to be able to provide you with all the information, materials, and assistance you could ask for independent of your projects.
2023 Trends
Some of the biggest trends of 2023 we’re excited for include the return of wallpaper in bold colors and big patters as opposed to dated small-print wallpaper, recovered and refurbished items such as second-hand furniture, decorations with handmade elements such as ceramic, natural fibers, and glasswares, and using strategic pops of color in accessories and interior decoration pieces throughout rooms and around the home. Most if not all of these trends can be done yourself with the right help, supplies, and tools. Larry’s Lumber is excited to help you plan and execute your projects in the new year and beyond!
